David M. Freimuth, Architect





Dave Freimuth received his formal education at Washington State University, graduating in 1977. He began his career with Fraley, Leighton and Associates of Wenatchee and was involved with a large number of educational, institutional, industrial and commercial projects. As senior Associate with Erickson Leighton and Associates, he acted as lead designer and project architect for the Washington Apple Commission headquarters in Wenatchee. He has been licensed to practice architecture in the State of Washington since 1981.


Mr. Freimuth started his architectural firm in 1987, providing a full range of architectural services, including programming, design, construction documents, estimating and cost control, and construction observation. Primary areas of focus have been commercial (bank/retail/offices) and industrial (manufacturing/processing). Notable Wenatchee projects include: the 27,000-square-foot River Front Center office building, North and South branches of Washington Trust Bank, 36,000-square-foot Harle Retail Center, Cascade Veterinary Clinic and Cashmere Valley Bank’s Financial Services Center in Wenatchee.


In 2004, Mr. Freimuth received his certification as a Sustainable Building Advisor and LEED Accredited Professional, highlighting his capabilities to develop healthy, energy efficient and environmentally low impact design solutions.
